We are affiliated with ANVR, SGR and the Calamiteitenfonds (Emergency Fund), so quality is guaranteed. Booking a holiday with our organisation is therefore a sound choice.
The holidays featured on this Internet site are covered by the terms and conditions of the ANVR, the SGR guarantee and the Calamiteitenfonds.
Below are six reasons explaining why it makes sense to book through a travel organisation affiliated with the ANVR, SGR and the Calamiteitenfonds.
1. Fair terms and conditions
Do you read the small print when you book a holiday? We observe the ANVR terms and conditions of travel and booking, which have been agreed with the Dutch Consumers’ Association. You are consequently protected from any unreasonable demands when paying for, cancelling or making changes to a holiday.
2. Your money is safe
It is not unusual to be asked for an advance payment on a holiday. But is your money safe?
Only reliable businesses that are able to submit a statement of good conduct are permitted to become members of the ANVR.
Stichting Garantiefonds Reisgelden (SGR)
ApriOri Reizen B.V. (Dutch Chamber of Commerce number 33194960) is affiliated with SGR. You can check this at www.sgr.nl. Within the confines of the SGR guarantee scheme, the holidays featured on this Internet site are covered by the SGR guarantee. This provides consumers with an assurance that their advance payments will be returned should the other party be unable to provide the agreed service due to financial inability. Insofar as the agreement also covers transportation and the destination has already been reached, return transportation will be provided.
3. Safe travel
Your destination may be far from home, but what happens in the event of a disaster there? We are also affiliated with the Dutch foundation Stichting Calamiteitenfonds Reizen. The guarantee offered by the Calamiteitenfonds entails that you, as a consumer participating in a holiday organised by us:
- will be reimbursed for all or part of your travel sum in the event that we cannot provide the holiday in full or in part due to an emergency;
- will be compensated for any additional costs in the event that we are forced to change the holiday or repatriate you prematurely due to an emergency.
An emergency is understood to mean an abnormal event due to an act of war or a natural disaster. Finally, we are required to observe strict rules in order to prevent any risk of Legionnaires’ disease. These rules have been drawn up by the Dutch Ministry of Public Health. We provide comprehensive country-specific information regarding health, required vaccinations, mandatory visas, travel advice and any circumstances that need to be taken into account.
4. Quality first
Will you receive expert professional advice? Our personnel are properly trained, ensuring that your holiday is in excellent hands.
5. Responsible travel
You love to travel, but are you aware of the impact of your trip on the local environment, for example? We ensure that the holidays we offer are responsible. For example, we will have nothing to do with holidays that may involve child prostitution. We have also drawn up an environmental policy plan containing practical measures. By having consideration for the natural environment and the local people and their culture, travelling the world will remain possible in the future, too.
6. Handling complaints
What guarantees do you have should anything go wrong?
We help you with any complaints about your holiday and we also respect rulings issued by the Geschillencommissie Reizen (Travel Disputes Committee).
The ANVR further ensures that its members observe the rulings of this committee.
